04. Black screen after 2 logos (SHTA)

There may be several reasons for this issue.

Please try to launch the game using solutions provided below.
Note: please don't apply all of them at once. Use one at a time

1. Verify integrity of game files
Steam Library → "Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened" → Properties → Local Files → "Verify integrity of game files"

2. If you're playing on laptop, make sure that the game uses High-Performance GPU

3. Launch the game with the -ngxdisable parameter
Steam Library → "Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened" → General → Launch Options → -ngxdisable

4. Launch the game with the -dx11 parameter
Steam Library → "Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened" → General → Launch Options → -dx11
